Connect your AI provider to Sekreton
Sekreton's agents run on a model provider you choose. Connect a plan you already pay for, such as Claude Pro or Max, ChatGPT Plus or Pro, or OpenCode Go, or an API key. Your provider bills the model usage; Sekreton bills only compute-minutes.
Which should I pick?
- The plan you already pay for. Agents draw on its allowance at no extra cost, within its usage limits.
- OpenCode Go if you have no plan yet: a cheap flat rate for capable open models.
- An API key if you want no allowance to run out: it is metered and bills per token.
A team can hold several keys at once. Turn on Automatically switch to another key when one hits its limit on the same settings page, and halted runs resume on the next key with room, so an API key can stand behind a plan.
Claude (Anthropic)
With a Claude Pro or Max plan
- Install Claude Code on your own machine, following Anthropic's setup guide.
- Run this, and sign in to your Claude account in the browser window it opens:
claude setup-token
- Copy the token it prints. It starts with
sk-ant-oat01-.
With an Anthropic API key
- Create a key at platform.claude.com. It starts with
sk-ant-api03-. - On a Max or Team plan, the owner can first claim the plan's monthly API credits in the Console, so the key spends those credits before it bills.
Paste it under Team → Settings → Model providers → Claude (subscription or API key) → Add a key.
ChatGPT (OpenAI)
For a ChatGPT Plus or Pro plan.
- Install Codex on your own machine:
npm install -g @openai/codex
- Sign in to your ChatGPT account:
codex login
- Copy the whole of the sign-in file it wrote. On macOS or Linux:
cat ~/.codex/auth.json
On Windows, in Command Prompt:
type %USERPROFILE%\.codex\auth.json
Paste it under Team → Settings → Model providers → OpenAI (ChatGPT / Codex subscription) → Add a key.
Then delete ~/.codex/auth.json and run
codex login again if you use Codex locally. The pasted copy
and your local Codex share one single-use refresh token, so whichever
renews first would sign the other out.
OpenCode Zen and Go
- Create a key at opencode.ai/zen. The one key covers the pay-as-you-go Zen models and a Go plan.
Paste it under Team → Settings → Model providers → OpenCode (Zen & Go) → Add a key.
Kimi (Moonshot)
- Create a key at platform.moonshot.ai.
Paste it under Team → Settings → Model providers → Kimi (Moonshot) subscription → Add a key.
Cursor
- Open the Cursor Dashboard and go to API Keys.
- Create a user API key. It belongs to one Cursor user, so the team's runs draw on that user's plan.
Paste it under Team → Settings → Model providers → Cursor subscription → Add a key.
OpenRouter
- Create a key at openrouter.ai/keys.
Paste it under Team → Settings → Model providers → OpenRouter → Add a key.
Your provider's terms apply
Your plan or key stays yours, under your provider's terms and usage limits. Sekreton stores it encrypted and uses it only to run your team's work. Remove it any time from the same settings page.
